For sale is a 1968 Gibson ES-175D Hollowbody Electric in a Sunburst finish. Serial Number 894619. A truly dreamy jazz box with a serious legacy. Maple top and Maple body, Mahogany neck, Florentine cutaway, trapeze style tailpiece, Brazilian rosewood board, Medium C neck, 12" fingerboard radius, and a 1 and 11/16" nut width. There is one repair on the underside of the neck near the joint that is very old, stable and done long before it came to us (see photo). Otherwise the guitar is lar...gely clean and plays wonderfully!
Signs of standard wear and tear from light use that do not affect tone or playability (finish checking throughout, some small nicks/scratches throughout). The neck pickup leads and cover were replaced at some point before it came to us, but both pickups are original and sound exquisite. Frets have minor wear but have a lot of life left in them. Neck is in good shape structurally. Included is a decent used hardshell case.
