Commodore 64 Computer - Cleaned, Repaired, 12, Hours

This Commodore 64 is serial number P00454836, and has been cleaned, repaired, and tested for over 12 hours (771 iterations) with Diagnostic Rev. 586220 and full diagnostic harness without any errors.
The case and keyboard are in really good condition with only minor yellowing. The computer did however have a broken case hinge and two broken motherboard mounts, that had to be replaced (see photos). I 3D print my own replacement parts in a color matching plastic (at least a...s close as you can match). They are held in place with a high quality two part epoxy. From the outside you can not tell the case required repairs and the case closes tightly with good gaps.
It has motherboard assembly number 250407 with 8-pin NTSC video output. It has all the original MOS chips including an original SID. Most of the main (big) chips are socketed, but two of the three ROMs are not. All the original shielding is in place. Personally I recommend removing the cardboard top shield for better air flow, but for the sake of originality I've included the top shield on this unit.
Also, included is a basic RCA Composite video cable that should work with most modern TVs. I make the video cables myself and the cable is around 6' long. If you would prefer an S-video cable or original 1702 style monitor cable, message me after the auction and I can swap the composite cable for the cable of your choice at no additional charge.
The auction is for the Commodore 64 and video cable only, but I'm including a repaired power supply for free as a courtesy. Since the transformer and AC rails in the original PSU almost never fail, I open the PSU and bypass the failing DC voltage regulator with a new 5v buck converter connected to the diode bridge from the transformer. The buck converter is much more efficient and cooler than the old linear voltage regulator. This buck converter is rated up to 3amp max for short bursts and is stable at 1.5amp which matches the original output rating. This is the exact power supply I used during testing with no issues. I have repaired a number of these and have not had any problems, but you use the power supply at your own risk without any guarantee. It’s probably safer than most of the original power supplies at this point, but you can also find many quality professionally made new power supplies for sale online.
The auction does not include any diagnostics or tools shown in the photos. I only included the photos of these to show that I’ve fully tested the computer.
