Commodore 64 Computer - Cleaned, Repaired, 18, Hours

This Commodore 64 is serial number P2586393, and has been cleaned, repaired, and tested for over 18 hours (1093 iterations) with Diagnostic Rev. 586220 and full diagnostic harness without any errors. The clock shows 6:05 because it flips after 12 hours. The case and keyboard are in very good condition and have no broken case hinges or screw mounts. It does however have a few indentations in the plastic. These are usually caused by being stored for long periods of time with cables ...wrapped around the keyboard. I've included close up images of these marks in the photos.It has motherboard assembly number 250407 with 8-pin NTSC video output. It has all the original MOS chips including an original SID. With the exception of two ROM chips, all the major (large) ICs are socketed for easy future modification or repair. The shield over the VIC II was removed, cleaned, and reinstalled with new heat sink compound. All of the original shielding is in place. Personally I recommend removing the cardboard top shield for better air flow, but for the sake of originality I've included the top shield on this unit.Also, included is a basic RCA Composite video cable that should work with most modern TVs. I make the video cables myself and the cable is around 6' long. If you would prefer an S-video cable or original 1702 style monitor cable, message me after the auction and I can swap the composite cable for the cable of your choice at no additional charge.The auction is for the Commodore 64, box, manual, and video cable only, but I’m also including a tested original power supply. This is the exact power supply used during testing. These power supplies have a reputation of failing over the years and causing a higher than rated voltage which can damage the computer. I’ve tested this power supply. Unloaded it produces 5VDC and at the motherboard under load, it produces 4.8 VDC (see photos). This is perfectly within normal range. Being that this power supply is over 30 years old I cannot make any guarantees of its continued reliability and you use the power supply at your own risk. If you have any concerns you can find many quality professionally made new power supplies for sale online. If you do not want the power supply, please let me know. My supply of original power bricks is running really low, and It's getting harder and harder to find original power supplies and parts to repair them.The auction does not include any diagnostics or tools shown in the photos. I only include them to show that I've fully tested the computer. I will use either USPS or UPS for shipping.
