A fine and rare c1880 Samuel Kirk silver (.917 pure) ram's head handle coffee pot.The ram handle one of the firm's most sought after designs.
Raised slender tapering ovoid form.Beautifully hand carved leaf and floral on partial satin chased surface.Side mount cover retains the original flowering branch finial, and the original hand cut fastener below.Leaf crown spout.Ram'...s head highlighted angular double scroll handle with leaf and flower terminal.Scrolling floral center circular base.
Script EHW (?) one side only.
