ANTIQUE GERMAN BLACK FOREST CHALET MUSICAL CUCKOO CLOCK FROM THE EARLY 1900'SThis clock is a stunning Large clock a must have for one's collection. This is a Black Forest Musical cuckoo clock. This clock's color can best be described as a very rich golden walnut brown with hints of orange that catches everyone's eye. This black forest clock has amazing highly carved detail on a very thick piece of wood that intricately describes the male and female dancers. This clock has it's mus...ical cuckoo clock movement that ticks tocks cuckoo's plays music and gongs like it should. The cuckoo(blue bird) cuckoo's the number of times the hours then the old Music Man plays one song on the hour and one song on the half hour the songs rotate . The movement has Hubert Herr Triberg Germany markings. This is a working clock and in great condition for it's age. The bellows are recovered in new lamb/goat skin. The movement and music player has been cleaned and serviced, oiled and lubricated. The case has been cleaned and waxed. The clocks hands are beautifully carved from bone. The measurement's are as followed: The clock is 18 inches tall and 16 inches wide and 11 inches deep.From the very top to the bottom of the pendulum is 24 inches long.The clocks Face measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter.This clock comes with 3 antique weights and it's matching pendulum.
