Pair Large Antique Ormolu Bronze Champleve Enamel & Onyx Garniture Mantle Urns

DIMENSIONS: Approximately 30cm (roughly 12 inches) tallITEM DETAILS: This is a very nice quality pair of vintage bronze and solid onyx garniture urns which look to be french and have champleve enamel embellishments. I'm not certain whether they once had some kind of lid or whether this is how they are intended to be, but they are beautifully worked and of supreme quality, and they ...are also very weighty at over 6 kilos! As you can see, there are flaws to the onyx, both natural and post manufacture, but considering their age they are nothing too serious or unsightly, and I have given them a good look over and am happy to report that I can find no other damage, repairs, restoration or other unsightly issues and they display superbly. They are just as you see them in the photos, and as always there's a low start and no reserve so happy bidding!
