March 5, 1767 New Hampshire land document signed by Revolutionary War officer Peter Drown (d. 1788). Drown served in the American Revolution and attained the rank of captain. He was killed tragically in 1788 by Elisha Thomas who stabbed him in the stomach while attempting to break up a fight in Dover New Hampshire. (Dover Public Library website.....Dover’s first hanging.”) Document involves the sale of land to Rev. War officer Thomas Tash (1722-1809) by John Mundro. Us shipping and... bidders only.
