An original Revolutionary War manuscript pay order addressed to John Lawrence, Treasurer of the Colony of Connecticut, dated Hartford-Wethersfield, September 19, 1775. Order to pay Captain Martin Kellogg of the 6th Regiment twelve shillings, money due to two soldiers of his Militia Company for their attendance at military training days as ordered by the Colonial Assembly. Signed by Justices of the Peace Elisha Williams and Thomas Belden......Size 5 3/4" x 7 1/2", folds, handmade rag pa...per, docketed on reverse and signed by Elisha Stoddard for Captain Kellogg for receipt of the funds on September 19, very good condition, ........Guaranteed original.....$5.00 shipping............
