Sept. 18, 1779 Revolutionary War document regarding the sale of land for 500 pounds in Strafford Co. New Hampshire by John Smith to Jacob Durgin. Signed by Revolutionary War officer Thomas Tash (1722-1809) who served in the New Hampshire militia during the war and rose to the rank of Colonel. He was also one of the early founders of New Durham NH and was a leading figure in the community. Various wear, tears and folds. Us shipping and bidders only.
