Dated 1790 Officer’s Spontoon Halberd Original Revolutionary War 67" long. 18th Cent. Original spontoon for an infantry officer had date and initials etched into the metal. Old wooden shaft. The overall length is 67" inches. The metal top from tip to bottom is 14 3/4". An amazing piece of early American history.
