Very small late 19th century bead work - c.1870 or slightly later. Worked in black and clear glass beads, this little bead work is just delightful with neat stitch work throughout. The image is a charming one of a very sweet two storey house with an attic room standing behind a wall with a tall flower pot to each side. The bead work is in good condition with no apparent losses. There is a small, neat repair in the top left section which also has a very small fragment of what appears to ...be the frame directly above it. The bead work is contained within its seemingly original silver gilt frame which is in good condition with a small loss on the inside top edge and age related patina. The frame also retains its top hanging ring.Measures 5 1/2" x 7" (sight size) and 7" x 8 1/2" including the frame. PLEASE NOTE - ANY MARKS ETC ON THE PHOTOGRAPHS WHICH I'VE NOT ALREADY MENTIONED ARE FROM THE GLARE AND REFLECTION OF THE GLASS AND NOT ON THE BEAD WORK ITSELF. ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK.
