Revolutionary War pay order to Lt. John Beedle for 15 pounds, 6 shillings, and 5 pence, dated Hartford, Connecticut, November 19, 1776. Written in the hand of and signed by Jesse Root. On the reverse side Benjamin Huntington signs as having received the money for Beedle. Audited by E. Plummer.

Jesse Root - 1736-1822. Revolutionary War officer and member of the Continental Congress from 1778-83.
Benjamin Huntington - 1736-1800. Member of Continental Congress 1780-84, 1787 and... 1788.
